Sara & Cedric’s wedding week started out rocky. Their original venue was affected by an earthquake in Marrakech, and we had to find them a new venue immediately. After all that stress, we were so happy to see the pure joy in their eyes as they exchanged vows. Our favorite moment happened during their welcome dinner, when the bride’s family arrived with the ARFA, a Moroccan traditional folklore in Berkane, to celebrate the newlyweds.
We created a structure for the dance floor with hanging Moroccan brass lamps and green leaves mixed with a disco ball to have a nice lighting effect - it was perfect for the first dance.
“Although we had a real tough time to reinvent our whole wedding in 10 days after the earthquake hit Marrakech. They stood by our side and listened to our wishes and made it work. Even if we had a very stressfull time then we look back at this magical 3 days and still love how everything looked! We would go back to those days in a heartbeat.”
